William D. Luzier was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1978. Thereafter he served as an Assistant Attorney General and Division Chief in the Criminal Bureau of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. Beginning in 1995 he was Chief of Staff and General Counsel to Senators Warren and Steven Tolman. He became Executive Director of the Governor’s Interagency Council on Substance Abuse and Prevention in September 2008. In July 2015 he was named Campaign Manager of Yes on 4 to Tax & Regulate Marijuana, sponsored by the Marijuana Policy Project, a successful ballot initiative in 2016. He is currently the Political Director of MPP Massachusetts.
