Toriano Sanzone Principal Officer, Chief Financial Officer of Dendera 5
Ever since Toriano The Wolfkeeper Sanzone was young boy growing up in North Lawndale, his mission has been one thing, survive. Mr. Sanzone has been surviving in North Lawndale for the last 45 years of his Life. He grew up as an only child, his mother did everything she could to send him to private school as a child, by working as a teacher for Bethel Lutheran School and part time at Amoco Gas Station that his grandfather owned. Toriano thought his family had a lot growing up on the Westside, but the truth was they just worked hard. Mr. Sanzone grew up fearing joining a gang or having to go Collins High School which was known for heavy gang activity. Toriano vowed to make sure that his children would never experience this same level of fear. Mr. Sanzone is grateful that he made it out of North Lawndale by never being arrested, selling drugs, joining a gang, nor becoming a teenage dad. Toriano is also grateful that he survived walking through the tough neighborhoods of K-Town, Holy City, Little Village, and Cicero. His family worked really hard for him to graduate high school and attend Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota which was a huge juxtaposition from the place where he grew up. Toriano struggled his first year of school to survive academically, but he ended up graduating early and in the process traveling and living in East Africa Kenya and Uganda. He worked as an Intern at BMG Records, Jive Records, Jam Productions, and Musicland all while attending college. When he graduated he took a position at Kilter Incorporated in Minneapolis as their Product Design Manager and a led a team of designers to make high end men’s Watches. He later would take a position as a Club Manager at Biscuit and Blues owned by Danny Glover and then eventually started his own Club called the GG Spot in NE Minneapolis. While working in night club industry, he also worked at Jam Productions which at the time was the largest concert promoter in the Midwest. Toriano Sanzone was fortunate enough to have seen the beginning of Mega Industries. For example, he was at Bad Boy Records when Sean Puffy Daddy Combs was just starting, he was at BMG Records / Jive Records when everyone that Digital Downloaded Music was just a Fad and he was working with software developing teams, before there was a Facebook. The cannabis industry is very similar to these other mega industries that Toriano was a part of from the beginning, if not bigger. In 2019, Toriano Sanzone ran for a local public office to create a community that he had dreamed about ever since he was a boy 45 years ago. He is confident that with all his world experience from living in Germany, Spain, Switzerland, California, Uganda, Kenya, New York, Minnesota, and Chicago that he will be able to create a company that will train and employ hundreds of people from North Lawndale with a true global trajectory. Toriano Sanzone has seen the cannabis industry in Africa, Europe, California, New York, and Minneapolis and Chicago, so he is familiar with how to market and promote the products in new and different ways in Illinois.
