Shira Schoenberg is the politics and State House reporter for the Springfield Republican and MassLive.com. She has written about marijuana policy since Massachusetts legalized medical marijuana, and she also covered the 2016 marijuana legalization ballot fight. Shira previously covered the 2012 New Hampshire primary for the Boston Globe. Before that, she worked for the Concord Monitor in New Hampshire, where she wrote about state government. Shira has a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
