Kobie Evans is a native of Boston, and he is a serial entrepreneur with 15 years of experience working in residential real estate.
He and his business partner have an application pending with the Cannabis Control Commission to open a retail Cannabis establishment, they have also been awarded a Host Agreement to operate in Boston. They are also seeking a Host Agreement to operate a store in Medford once zoning is finalized. Their company, Pure Oasis, is 100% local, 100% minority owned, and also a designated Economic Empowerment applicant by the Cannabis Control Commission.
Pure Oasis is launching a business accelerator that will help people of color from urban areas become entrepreneurs.
Kobie has also founded the Massachusetts Cannabis Equity Association which is a business organization bringing Equity applicants together with the focus of assisting others in entering the Recreational Cannabis market.
Kobie attended Bentley College. He enjoys mentoring entrepreneurs, and he also advocates issues of social justice and economic empowerment.
