Kathryn Rifkin

Kathryn Rifkin

Clerk at MassCANN/NORML |

Kathryn Rifkin started smoking weed while protesting the Viet Nam War and continued until she was advised to stop before starting a family – which may or may not have been good advice. When laid off in 2008 and relieved of the dreaded pee-test and faced with rocketing pharmaceutical costs, she started growing her own. Since then, Kathryn has been studying historic use of cannabis and modern medical journals in an attempt to educate the voting public that prohibition is bad and cannabis is good for everyone. The Department of Public Health should be in the streets flinging bud at passers-by.
